In my mind, I was creating a magazine of things that interested me. Someone just pointed out the other day that it was a "blog" before blogs really existed. There was no other kind of platform at the time to add seemingly random bits of information or photos, so I just created categories on my site that I thought were interesting. I realize now that this was last-millenium style blogging.... I bought that domain name in 1997 and started the site in ’99 and added things that interested me along the way.
