Nice. I am impressed, Allen.

Question: how can I, as a consumer, find Windermere listings on google?

When I try "edmonds real estate"
I see homegain, JLScott, yahoo.

When I try "76th Ave W Edmonds"
I get a Trulia listing

Where's the google search page for a consumer to put in search parameters?

Thanks.

[...] My mind was elsewhere, so I don’t know if Marlow was in the lead with news about Trulia’s nationwide expansion. She’s certainly been all over the story, though, along with Trulia’s own weblog, Ubertor, The Real Estate Marketing Blog, Real Central VA and Marlow herself again. Two days later, she followed up with news that Windermere has gone Google. More from Joel on this move. My take: Okay, but an MLS is a tool wherein I can distinguish a slate roof from a tile roof and a true swimming pool from an above-ground pool. By that standard, we do not have and may never have a national MLS. [...]

Marlow,

If r.com would have linked back to Windermere for the listing detail display then Im sure Windermere's listings would have been on r.com and homeadvisor at that time. Google links to the listing detail page on Windermere which is why I assume they are now posting data to google base. From the outside looking in I don't think their philosophy has changed much.

[...] Witness: Lots of interesting changes and business partnerships emerging lately. I wonder how many more opportunities are still available. I checked MSN and AOL, and they’re both already hooked up with Realtor.com. Prudential has a deal with Yahoo. Seattle’s Real Property Associates is running a feed directly to Trulia (I like watching what they’re doing, as co-owner Gordon Stephenson is on the Board of Directors at Zillow.) I don’t see any reason why our other two local players, John L. Scott and Coldwell Banker Bain couldn’t also run feeds to Google Base and Trulia, but they may have their own reasons not to… [...]
