First off, you are absolutely right, this has nothing to do with Elvis.

Secondly, to finish off this topic, each ZipRealty agent is a member of NAR as well as their local association. As an example, one of our agents in the Seattle area, Lori Midttun, is listed as a NAR member. Visit this link:

http://www.realtor.org/rodesign.nsf/pages/FS_FMEMBER and put in her name.

You’ll see that she is a member of NAR as well as of the local association. This holds true for all of our agents.

Yes, Zip Realty agents are licensed. But they are not REALTORS! They are not members of the National Association of Realtors. Strictly speaking, they are not Real Estate Professionals.

Anyway, I have no doubt that Zip Realty agents are licensed with the State of Washington. I do doubt, however, that they are members of the National Association of Realtors. Zip Realty is not listed, nor are you!

I checked with the National Association of Realtors again today, and Zip Realty is not a member of the NAR in Washington State. I do not know where you are licensed, and perhaps your particular firm is a member of the NAR, but not in our state.

In regards to ZipRealty, what you have written is absolutely false. ZipRealty requires all of its agents to be members of their local association and de facto members of NAR. In fact, ZipRealty.com is one of the most watched web sites by NAR – if there are any ethics or guideline violations, you can bet that NAR would be there to correct the situation. Please get your you facts straight before you start writing incorrect and defamatory statements.
