Back in the 1950’s, Bing Crosby established an upscale mobile home park he names “Blue Skies”, after one his biggest hits. Inviting some of his movie star friends to invest, they created a planned community of trailers and mobiles, each with it’s own theme. Pictured left is the “Mt. Vernon”, named after George Washington’s home. This mobile home park had several “approved” motifs, and each trailer had to be disguised, either as Egyptian, Asian, or “Classic” like the one pictured here.

Aren’t we all obsessed with food? Well, maybe some of us are more preoccupied than others. The Museum of Food Anomalies is an on-going exhibition of the MoFA’s (Museum of Food Anomalies) collection. See horrific aberrations of nature in this collection of photographs depicting common food items that have distorted into something more sinister than words can describe.
I even have an entry featured on the site. Look for the scary jalapeno….
For those obsessed with food in little packets, there is The Original Condiment Package Museum.
Tired of having to go to a fast food restaurant to enjoy your favorite condiments? Order your packets from the comfort of your home, online at Minimus. Travel shampoos you could previously only get at hotels, mini packets of salad dressing, tiny packets of relish, mustard, soy sauce, jelly & peanut butter, plus personal products too. Imagine bringing your own condiment packets to your next dinner party.
